A member of the Tachibana family, Hinata and Naoto were both. When he is pushed in front of a train, Takemichi has the ability to travel back in time exactly twelve years to the year 2005. When Takemichi is reliving his middle school years, he meets Naoto and informs him of the exact day that he and Hinata would die. Takemichi is immediately sent back to the present after shaking hands with them, creating a paradoxical situation in which Naoto is able to survive and is currently employed as a detective. Naoto has deduced that Takemichi is time-traveled by an interval of fifteen and a half years whenever the two of them hold hands. Takemichi has vowed to use his knowledge of the future to help Hinata.

Kiyomasa, a member of the Tokyo Manji Gang, forced Takemichi’s former allies to take part in clandestine combats that he oversaw. Because to his unrelenting dedication to their protection, Takemichi gains Mikey’s esteem, the leader of the group. Takemichi discovers that one of his other friends, Akkun, was about to be arrested when he recently connected with Mikey, and this knowledge helped prevent it. When Akkun kills himself out of fear, Takemichi realizes that the Tokyo Manji Gang is more dangerous to his friends than he initially thought.

After traveling back in time, Takemichi learns that the Tokyo Manji Gang is at war with the rival Moebius gang in retaliation for Pah-companion. Mikey becomes angry as a result of Takemichi learning that Draken, his second-in-command, will be killed in the future. Pah-chin surrenders to the police after stabbing Osanai, the leader of the Moebius gang, while Draken escapes the fight unharmed. Takemichi learns that Peh-yan teamed up with them in retribution for Mikey and Draken permitting Pah-chin to be jailed, and that Kiyomasa attacked Draken in retaliation for Draken humiliating him and making him leave the Tokyo Manji Gang. Peh-yan teaches Takemichi this knowledge. Takemichi defeats Kiyomasa, the Tokyo Manji Gang triumphs in the conflict, and Draken recovers completely from his injuries.
